SUTHERLAND NAMED CHAMPION OF BANDING TOGETHER:
BATTLE OF THE LAW FIRM BANDS 2015

Sutherlandbetter

Sutherland Comfort, the band of the Sutherland law firm, clinched first place and is the 2015 law firm champion of GFTH’s Banding Together 2015.  Sutherland rocks!  Here’s to Sutherland for playing great music and raising tens of thousands of dollars for GFTH to purchase and distribute essential new clothing (socks, underwear, thermals, etc.) to
shelters and other homeless services providers in the Washington, DC metro area to aid people experience homelessness.

An honorable mention goes to runner-up and last year’s champ, The Unnamed Party, comprised of law firm members of law firm members of Arent Fox, Hunton Williams and Paul Hastings.  A full listing of all top bands will be announced soon.

Thursday, June 18, 2015 was an amazing night, with more than $270,000 raised by GFTH — all will be used for essential new clothing purchases and distributions to area shelters and other organizations that serve the DC area homeless.  This is a tremendous feat since those organizations rely upon GFTH — a non-profit comprised mostly of area legal professionals and no paid staff or overhead — to supply their clothing needs.  Thank you to all who made our annual event a resounding success and a lot of fun to boot.  Check out our social media outlets accessible on the right hand side of this home page to see clips of this year’s event.

A BIG thank you to all of our wonderful sponsors (to tall generously donated sponsorship monies are used by GFTH to purchase and distribute essential new clothing to the Washington, DC metro area homeless):
