During our 2012-2013 fiscal year (ending September 30, 2013), Gifts for the Homeless collected nearly $387,000 in public donations and is using every penny to buy warm clothing and blankets for the homeless in our community. We also collected thousands of bags of donated clothing that we sorted and distributed to 65 area shelters. Since 1986, we have purchased nearly $3.7 million worth of warm clothing for shelters, soup kitchens and food wagons throughout the region.
