Gifts for the Homeless Raises Over $230,000 for D.C. Homeless at Sixteenth Annual “Banding Together” Concert
Sutherland Comfort Named Champion in Charity’s “Battle of the Bands” Competition Among fifteen Participating Bands from the D.C. Legal community
Gifts for the Homeless, Inc. (GFTH) is excited to announce the return of Sutherland Comfort as winner of the top prize at 2019 Banding Together contest! Performing at the historic Black Cat, Sutherland Comfort took the top honors at the 16th annual battle-of-the-law-firm-bands competition held June 20, where fifteen different bands helped raise more than $234,000 to provide clothing to the area homeless. The top-five placing bands at Banding Together 2019:
1st: Sutherland Comfort – Raised $29,060.00
2nd: The Perks – $23,928.00
3rd: The Unnamed Party – $21,865.00
4th: Solely in the Interest – $12,122.00
5th: The Precedents – $8,151.00
